Terms & Conditions

Effective October 1, 2026

Important Updates from the PRISS Training Academy

Please note – these Terms and Conditions supersede any other prior notice, terms, or conditions.

Please note these important terms before booking. Continuing to book your training with the Training Center means you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.

01

Working Hours & Communication

Working hours on any day are from Monday - Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Calls and text messages will be answered on the next business day after working hours.

Please allow 24–48 hours to reply to all emails.

02

MAP Blended Course

MAP is a blended course – all units are completed by the candidate. A virtual meeting with an instructor will be held to complete transcription and medication skills.

An instructor will connect with the cohort group on the first day of class to go over expectations and will meet again on the fifth day to complete the skill portions.

A link will be sent for the virtual skill test. The Center can also be available for in-person skill training if notified ahead of time.

03

MAP Class Schedule & Registration

MAP classes start every first and third Thursday of every month.

Registration is due one week prior to the class start date.

04

Adult Education & Candidate Participation

This is adult education. Your involvement and participation depend fully on you, the candidate.

The team here at the Training Center will not pressure you to complete the course you willingly signed up for. Maximum participation is your responsibility as the candidate.

Our team is always here to help serious candidates who engage, are ready to learn, and are ready to receive their certificate.

05

Cohort-Based Training & Course Completion

Our trainings are cohort-based, meaning several groups start at the same time and complete at the same time.

The start date and completion date are the same for everyone – no exceptions.

Slacking and doing things at your own time puts the whole group, including instructors, behind instead of allowing the same time to be used to help other candidates.

Candidates who still need the Training Center's assistance but delay training will be required to pay an additional $100 per week for every week spent receiving assistance until course completion.

This fee is to compensate instructors for the extra time needed. Payment needs to be made prior to the week assistance is needed.

Please take this seriously. No exceptions.

This is not to punish anyone but to make candidates serious about the course they willingly signed up for.

✓

MAP courses must be completed in its entirety within one week from the start date.

✓

CPR/BLS trainings are same-day trainings.

06

Instructor Availability & Candidate Responsibility

Your instructor will be available for the time slotted to complete the training in a week.

Your success depends mainly on the candidate's involvement and seriousness.

We are here to guide and direct you to pass your test on your first trial, but you, the candidate, have to be fully engaged.

07

Payments & State Exams

Please note that state exams are the candidate's responsibility and are not part of the training cost.

State exams are paid through the candidate's TMU account directly to the state.

08

Retesting

If, for any reason, you are required to retest, the state charges a fee for every attempt.

In the same way, your trainer also charges for the time required to assist you.

This is why it is so important to follow directions and engage fully so you can pass on your first trial.
